Do you know what it is like when somebody tells you you HAVE to do something? I for one resist the thought at first. I would prefer to WANT to do it, giving the proper motivation and reward.
Now, you don’t have to read any further, unless you want to learn about the reality of the relationship with your creator. He wants a relationship with you, but you don’t have to nor does He. It’s a choice we all have to make. On the flip side, as we well know or could imagine, if we don’t listen to our creator, life won’t be as understandable to what it was intended. We may face some difficulties that were avoidable had we listened. Listening to our creator or Lord, is not necessarily easy either, much like it isn’t easy to listen to the stern words of our parents when we misbehave. Are these words had out of love? I would hope so. So, yes, it is a choice, to obey and follow the commandments or advice of the Lord, and not something we have to do. And was it a choice from our Lord to enforce the behavior, and done out of care and love? I should hope so. Also, Do we want a better more sustaining world? Well, in that case this is most likely and understandably the right way to go about it, don’t you agree?
All in all, relationships are a choice and so is behavior. Initially in a relationship there are a lot of loving words and encouragement to get it going, yes. That’s always nice, but to sustain the relationship out of a mutual respect, it does take a slight turn to stern, sometimes. does that make sense? That’s the reality about Love and considering the big picture. We may not understand the reasons for “behavior,” but it is done to protect us and those around us. I’d love to hear your comments and thoughts regarding this topic. Feel free to jump in and say something, anytime.
I’ve been working for the Kingdom of Heaven for 15 years since I accepted the contract between the Lord and I. Since that time I have developed a relationship through an understanding of mutual respect which continues to evolve through experiences and conversations with the Lord. It’s definitely different than I thought it was going to be, but I am a better person because of it. Had I not surrendered my will to the Lord, I wouldn’t have any idea of what I’m talking about, and what I’m talking about is the Kingdom of Heaven.
